Ejsmont Origination / History

For the seventeenth century, the main cradle of the family was Ejsmontów region Grodno and Lida. For example, in the district of Grodno built three villages Ejsmonty [Eysymonty] Big, Small Ejsmonty and Ejsmonty Nadtobolskie and continues to this day. Ejsmontowie emigrated from there in different parts of the world voluntarily [ie the U.S.], or under compulsion [to Siberia}. After World War II St. many settled in the so-called Poland. "Recovered territories", and many remained on the "lost territories" in the USSR.

Confederation of the Polish Nobility

Borrowed quote from their website:

Each of us has ancestors.
Each of us comes from somewhere.
Almost all carry with us the scents, images and the sounds of the home we left behind.

Ejsmont is a member of the organization 'Confederation of the Polish Nobility'.  This website shows the Ejsmont inclusion.

This is a list of the noble families represented in the Confederation of the Polish Nobility.

In many cases, several generations of one line are members of the Confederation or siblings, cousins, or representatives of several branches of one family may be members. Some families are represented by several and others by a dozen or more members while still others are represented by only one member.

Our Confederation affiliated both the descendants of middle-class nobility and also wealthy and meaningful noble stocks. The Confederation has now about 500 members representing nearly 300 noble stocks. On many occasions, our members play an active role in the cultural, scientific and business life of contemporary Poland. It should be stressed that the Confederation of the Polish Nobility is in no way a usurping organisation, it neither grants nor takes away the nobility and candidates to the Confederation are admitted exclusively based on the land law of the First Polish Republic.
